The Stride for Packer Pride 5K and Fun Run will be held in person on Saturday, May 22, beginning and ending at Central Square Community Center in South St. Paul. Event begins at 9 AM.
In honor of Ken and Mary Schultz, a fund has been established at the South St. Paul Educational Foundation to assist those students in SSP who, due to financial reasons, would not able to participate with their classmates in extra-curricular athletics and activities.
Here’s how you can help:
• Make a Donation – You can follow the registration link to donate or run/walk on your own. Any donation made to the South St. Paul Educational Foundation is appreciated. Those companies or individuals whose donations are in excess of $300 (received by May 6th) will be recognized on the back of the race day t-shirts.
• Volunteer - We could use your help! Email Pete Schultz at [email protected] and he will offer some details.
• Register to participate – We’d love to see a lot of people this year! We’ll be following COVID protocols and it’ll feel good to get outside. If you’re not a runner, it amounts to a nice walk through SSP on a Saturday morning. Also, sign your kids up! The Fun Run is for kids and we have them run around the building, pass a water stop, and run across the finish line to receive a trophy.
• Spread the Word! - This is our 13th annual event. We have raised over $100,000 and want to continue make it possible to fund all requests and allow all students a chance to be involved
