It is WoW's 5th Anniversary in 2023! The goal of the 5th Annual Pad Drive is $10,000 in 10 weeks. The are collecting money and period products for people in need in our community. 100% of funds and products donated are given to Neighbors, Inc. for distribution.
How to Help:
Donate Money:
Want to just drop them some cash and not worry about the rest? WoW takes a cue from mutual aid movements and skips the GoFundMe format so the people who need it most, get the very most. Every penny has always gone toward products. This is an all-volunteer operation.
Here’s how you send us money:
- Katie Dohman:
- Venmo: @katie-dohman
- Paypal: [email protected]
- Abby Hendricks:
- Venmo: @Abby-Hendricks-14
- Paypal: [email protected]
Donate Products
If you prefer to drop products to their period advocates, you can do that too! They'll be hosting Fill the Trunk event for fundraising and fun on August 10 at 6:30 PM at the West St. Paul Art Park (corner of Oakdale & Butler), adding drop boxes around town, or you can get in touch with WoW to arrange a product drop off.
Or, if you're more of a click-and-ship type, you can also purchase items from WoW's Amazon list.
How else can I help?
- Post on social media & share their Venmo (word of mouth is our biggest donation driver!)
- Keep your Venmo donation public when you donate (you’d be SURPRISED how many friends will donate when they see your good work!)
- Contact WoW to volunteer, donate money or product, etc.
- Talk to your bosses about corporate match donations or if you know anyone in the industry.
- Start a drive in your town! Period poverty is, unfortunately, everywhere
