Brought back by popular demand! Join SSP historian Lois Glewwe and the City of South St. Paul for the South St. Paul History Tour. The SSP History Tour entitled "Why We Are the Way We Are" will take place on Tuesday, October 2nd from 5:00 to 6:30 pm.
The tour will include the sites and stories of the city from the earliest days of the Mdewakanton Dakota Kaposia Village to the boat launch and river trail as well as the Exchange Building. It will include a trip through the stockyards site and a look at the ethnic halls and discussion of the city’s unique neighborhoods over the last 130 years. Two stops include getting on and off the bus which is not handicapped accessible.
Tickets are $5.00 and are available at the South St. Paul City Hall Community Affairs Office. There is only one tour and seats are limited, so get your tickets early.
