Join us to see improvements at the Mendota Heights Trailhead along the Big Rivers Regional Trail. Visitors can enjoy a self-guided walk or bike ride along Big Rivers Regional Trail to see the new trail enhancements and new interpretive stops at the historic overlook.
Take in the river view from the newly updated picnic area and check out the new picnic shelter restroom building. Enjoy games, activities and fun. Live music and food trucks.
Mendota Heights Trailhead, Big Rivers Regional Trail
1498 Mendota Heights Road, Mendota Heights
The event will be outdoors in a large open lawn space. Portable chairs, picnic blankets and umbrellas for personal shade are welcome. Tents and staked canopies are not permitted. The area is near picnic grounds and the new picnic shelter — a small open-air shelter with modern restrooms and drinking water.

Bring your bikes, scooters, walkers and wheelchairs. Bring blankets and chairs for the great lawn to enjoy the live music. Pets welcome on a leash.
