Enjoy a day of arts at Inver Hills Community College
Inver Hills Community College will host its annual Fine Arts Festival April 11-12. Held in the Fine Arts building, the festival will showcase the talents of Inver’s students and faculty as they present, perform, and participate in Art, Music, Theater, and Creative Writing areas.
Day One activities will be free and open to the community. The public is invited to come out between 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and enjoy performances, presentations, exhibits and pop up events.
This year’s event will focus on careers and the arts. A highlight of the day will be a keynote workshop with Andy Sturdevant, from the Springboard for the Arts. He will present on career pathways in the arts. Springboard for the Arts illuminates the social and economic value of art and creativity.
Day Two of the Fine Arts Festival will include activities catered for high school students. High schools from throughout the region will visit Inver Hills and take in a range of arts related activities.
