Registration for the Inver Hills and DCTC Day of Service due Oct. 16
To give back to the communities that have supported their missions for 50 years, Inver Hills Community College (Inver Hills) and Dakota County Technical College (DCTC) have teamed up for a Day of Service on Friday, November 1.
All, including alumni and community members, are invited to join us to do two hours of good. The Day of Service will begin at 1 p.m. in the Inver Hills Fine Arts Building. Projects will be available on both campuses, as well in the community-at-large.
There will be indoor, outdoor projects, as well as opportunities for people with different physical abilities. Examples of service projects include: packing food at Feed My Starving Children, food shelf cleaning at Neighbors Inc., litter clean up in Rosemount, Fall Fest at Presbyterian Homes Timber Hills, making cards for service members, yard clean up with DARTS. After projects have wrapped up, join us at the DCTC Student Life Center for refreshments and networking.
