The Inver Grove Heights Police Department is conducting our Annual Community Safety Survey.
The department is seeking information to help us better understand community perceptions about the sources and severity of the crime, traffic issues/concerns, and quality-of-life issues.
Annually we take over 35,000 calls for service and we know crime, traffic, and quality-of-life issues affect the community in different ways. The feedback our community members provide about crime, traffic, and quality-of-life issues helps the police department to develop and refine our annual policing strategy and priorities.
Survey respondents remain completely anonymous. The survey will be open from December 1, 2023 through January 31, 2024.
The survey takes about 5 minutes to complete. The survey is designed so that those completing it can respond as either a resident of Inver Grove Heights, a regular visitor to the City or as a person whose work is located in Inver Grove Heights.
Once the survey is closed the results will be analyzed. Once analyzed, the data will be published on the police department page on the City website (Last year's and previous year's survey results are posted there, too.) If any information is received that regards issues/problems which need to be addressed by another city's police department, we will provide that information to the appropriate department head.
The Inver Grove Heights Police Department thanks you in advance for taking the time to complete this survey. Please do not hesitate to contact me directly if you have specific questions, comments, or concerns.
