Join the City of South St. Paul for the Annual Community-wide Food Drive. Our goal is 55,075 pounds of non-perishable food.
In 2018, Neighbors, Inc. distributed close to 1 MILLION pounds of food to 5,600 families in northern Dakota County. Ninety-nine percent of clients visiting Neighbors, Inc. are at or below the 200% of poverty levels. One in five families are struggling with hunger and 39% of clients are under the age of 18. These are some powerful numbers.
Let’s be a community in action! The goal is the South St. Paul’s zip code of 55,075 pounds of non-perishable food items. Fill a bag and drop off the food items between 10:00 am to noon on March 23rd at Southview Center or place it on your front steps by 9:30 am on the 23rd & we’ll be by to pick it up. We can do this South St. Paul!
If you cannot make the collection date of March 23rd, just drop your donation at one of the many drop off spots around South St. Paul between March 4th & 31st. Attached is a listing of barrels in SSP or drop directly at Neighbors, Inc and let them know it is for the 55075 Food Drive. All donations will go to Neighbors, Inc. benefiting the community of South St. Paul.
